Central Team Assesses Drought Impact On Hassan Farms

An inter-ministerial Central team visited drought-affected farmlands in Hassan taluk on Saturday to assess the impact of the failed rains on crops. Led by Sudam Bag, the team inspected maize and ragi fields in several villages, collecting details on crop losses and reduced coconut yield. Farmers reported that crops were completely wiped out, with maize not even suitable for cattle fodder. Hassan MP Shreyas Patel met the team to highlight the farmers' hardships. The team will visit other taluks on Sunday.

केंद्रीय टीम ने हसन के खेतों में सूखे के असर का जायजा लिया किसानों की फसलें बर्बाद, मक्के की फसल पशुओं के चारे लायक भी नहीं

शनिवार को हसन तालुका के सूखे से प्रभावित खेतों का दौरा करने के लिए एक अंतर-मंत्रालयी केंद्रीय टीम पहुंची। टीम ने बारिश की कमी से फसलों पर पड़े असर का जायजा लिया। सुदाम बाग के नेतृत्व में टीम ने कई गांवों में मक्का और रागी के खेतों का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने फसल के नुकसान और नारियल की पैदावार में कमी के बारे में जानकारी जुटाई। किसानों ने बताया कि उनकी फसलें पूरी तरह से बर्बाद हो गई हैं, और मक्का तो पशुओं के चारे के लायक भी नहीं बचा है। हसन के सांसद श्रेयस पटेल ने किसानों की कठिनाइयों को बताने के लिए टीम से मुलाकात की। टीम रविवार को अन्य तालुकों का दौरा करेगी।
