Azam Khan and Son Likely to Be Released After Bail in PAN Case

Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Azam are expected to be released from Rampur jail after the Allahabad High Court granted them bail and suspended their seven-year sentences in the dual PAN case. The court, however, declined to stay their convictions, meaning they remain disqualified from contesting elections. The case involved allegations of using two PAN cards with different birth dates for undue benefits. While Azam has secured bail in all cases against him, jail authorities are awaiting formal release orders.
