Vijayawada Sets Up Special Drainage For Saras Aajeevika Mela

The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation has installed a special drainage system at Punnami Ghat for the upcoming Saras Aajeevika Mela, scheduled from October 13. This measure aims to ensure efficient wastewater disposal and prevent stagnation, anticipating a large number of vendors from across India. Municipal Commissioner Dhyanachandra H.M. also directed authorities to provide underground drainage where needed and maintain overall cleanliness during the event. President Droupadi Murmu is expected to attend, with Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar and MP Kesineni Sivanath inspecting arrangements.

विजयवाड़ा नगर निगम ने आगामी सरस आजीविका मेला के लिए पुन्नमी घाट पर एक विशेष जल निकासी प्रणाली स्थापित की है, जो 13 अक्टूबर से शुरू हो रहा है। इस कदम का उद्देश्य बड़ी संख्या में पूरे भारत से आने वाले विक्रेताओं को देखते हुए कुशल अपशिष्ट जल निपटान सुनिश्चित करना और जल जमाव को रोकना है। नगर आयुक्त ध्यानचंद्र एच.एम. ने अधिकारियों को आवश्यकतानुसार भूमिगत जल निकासी प्रदान करने और कार्यक्रम के दौरान समग्र स्वच्छता बनाए रखने का भी निर्देश दिया। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू के शामिल होने की उम्मीद है, जबकि केंद्रीय मंत्री पेम्मासानी चंद्रशेखर और सांसद केसिनेनी शिवनाथ ने व्यवस्थाओं का निरीक्षण किया।
