Telangana Rakshana Sena chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha has threatened to halt census operations if the State government does not secure a dedicated Other Backward Classes (OBC) column with standardized caste coding in the upcoming nationwide census. She urged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to pass an Assembly resolution demanding this separate column. Kavitha alleged the Union government neglects OBC interests, citing a minimal budget allocation.
