Centre's Navya Initiative to Train Young Women in 10 Odisha Districts

The Centre's Navya initiative is expanding to provide vocational training to young women aged 16 to 25 in 10 districts of Odisha. This expansion, known as Navya 2.0, aims to improve livelihood opportunities by equipping them with industry-relevant skills in emerging fields. The program is a joint effort by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and the Ministry of Women and Child Development. It will utilize the anganwadi network for beneficiary identification and a digital platform for tracking the entire training cycle, including placement support.

केंद्र की नव्य पहल अब ओडिशा के 10 जिलों में 16 से 25 साल की युवा महिलाओं को वोकेशनल ट्रेनिंग देने के लिए विस्तार कर रही है। नव्य 2.0 के नाम से जाने वाले इस विस्तार का लक्ष्य उभरते क्षेत्रों में इंडस्ट्री-रिलेवेंट स्किल्स से लैस करके आजीविका के अवसरों को बेहतर बनाना है। यह प्रोग्राम Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship और Ministry of Women and Child Development का संयुक्त प्रयास है। यह लाभार्थियों की पहचान के लिए anganwadi नेटवर्क और ट्रेनिंग साइकिल को ट्रैक करने के लिए एक डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म का उपयोग करेगा, जिसमें प्लेसमेंट सपोर्ट भी शामिल है।
