Thiruvananthapuram police investigating the murder of 17-year-old Abhiram in Pangappara suspect a double murder plot. The accused allegedly planned to kill Abhiram and a friend, but only attacked Abhiram when the friend did not arrive. Missing Instagram chats from the victim's account are being examined by cyber experts for connections to the murder. Investigators believe a relationship dispute, fueled by social media posts of a former girlfriend with Abhiram's friend, motivated the crime. A special team is probing the case, including the involvement of a third accused.
