British television presenter Esther Rantzen, known for her show "That's Life!", has died at the age of 86. The presenter, who was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, had become a prominent advocate for legalising assisted dying in Britain. Her show, which aired from 1973 to 1994, was credited with influencing safety measures like compulsory car seat belts for children and safer playground surfaces. Rantzen also founded the children's helpline Childline in 1986 and later launched The Silver Line for the elderly.
