Koraput Schools Closed Due To Heavy Rainfall

Koraput district in Odisha has ordered the closure of schools and anganwadi centres for Wednesday and Thursday due to heavy rainfall. Semiliguda recorded the highest rainfall of 230.2 mm in 24 hours. The district collector stated the situation is under control, with officials on high alert and relief materials stocked. Traffic movement was affected in Dasmantpur block as floodwater rose over a bridge. The administration is monitoring low-lying areas and vulnerable roads.

कोरापुट में भारी बारिश के कारण स्कूल बंद

ओडिशा के कोरापुट जिले में भारी बारिश के कारण बुधवार और गुरुवार को स्कूल और आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र बंद रखने का आदेश दिया गया है। पिछले 24 घंटों में सेमिलिगुडा में सबसे ज्यादा 230.2 मिमी बारिश दर्ज की गई। जिला कलेक्टर ने बताया कि स्थिति नियंत्रण में है, अधिकारी हाई अलर्ट पर हैं और राहत सामग्री का स्टॉक किया गया है। दशमंतपुर ब्लॉक में एक पुल के ऊपर से पानी बहने के कारण यातायात प्रभावित हुआ।
