Hidden Nile Channel Aided Great Pyramid Construction

Scientists have discovered a lost branch of the Nile, named the Khufu branch, that likely facilitated the transport of stones for the Great Pyramid of Giza. Geoarchaeologist Hader Sheisha's team analyzed fossil pollen to reconstruct ancient water levels, finding the channel was navigable around 4,500 years ago. This suggests ancient Egyptians used boats to move millions of tons of stone via waterways, rather than solely relying on desert transport.
