Mizoram is preparing to become the first state to complete the Census 2027 exercise. Chief Secretary Khilli Ram Meena emphasized the importance of accuracy for policymaking and achieving Viksit Bharat 2047. The second phase will include all 16 Scheduled Castes and refugees residing in the state, though refugee inclusion will not grant Indian citizenship. Training for census enumerators is scheduled for November, with each enumerator expected to cover approximately 800 people. The state has been allocated ₹19.19 crore for this phase.

मिजोरम, जनगणना 2027 का काम पूरा करने वाला पहला राज्य बनने की तैयारी कर रहा है। मुख्य सचिव खिली राम मीणा ने नीति-निर्माण और विकसित भारत 2047 के लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के लिए सटीकता के महत्व पर जोर दिया। दूसरे चरण में राज्य में रहने वाली सभी 16 अनुसूचित जातियां और शरणार्थी शामिल होंगे, हालांकि शरणार्थियों को शामिल करने से भारतीय नागरिकता नहीं मिलेगी। जनगणना कर्मियों के लिए प्रशिक्षण नवंबर में निर्धारित है, और प्रत्येक कर्मी से लगभग 800 लोगों को कवर करने की उम्मीद है। इस चरण के लिए राज्य को ₹19.19 करोड़ आवंटित किए गए हैं।
