Tigress Zeenat Safe and Agile in Similipal Reserve, Officials Confirm

Times of India · environment

Wildlife officials have confirmed that tigress Zeenat is safe and moving normally within the northern Similipal Tiger Reserve. Latest camera trap evidence, recorded approximately ten days ago, shows Zeenat active in the area. While fresh images of her four cubs have not yet been captured, officials state there are no reports of cub mortality. Zeenat's restricted movement is attributed to her maternal duties, a behaviour conservationists view positively as she has shifted to a region with historically lower tiger presence.
