FSSAI Suspends Licences of Two Food Operators Over Hygiene and Safety Violations

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has suspended the licences of two food business operators, TCF Chocolates and Gifts and Shivam Agro, following inspections that revealed severe food safety violations. Issues found included pest infestation, cat droppings, flies, stagnant sewage water, and inadequate hygiene practices. Both companies were also cited for labelling deficiencies and improper storage of food items. FSSAI has ordered both operators to cease all food business activities during the suspension period.
