Former IPS officer A.B. Venkateswara Rao, an independent candidate for Vijayawada Mayor supported by Congress and other parties, has pledged comprehensive development if elected. His agenda includes ensuring 24-hour drinking water, improving sanitation and roads, and addressing property tax and traffic issues.
