Speaking at a thermal power project event, Adani noted Sarma's focus on on-ground development and enthusiasm for new ideas. He highlighted Assam's emerging role as an economic powerhouse and a gateway to the Northeast, with nearly Rs 80,000 crore in investments underway.

अडानी ग्रुप के डायरेक्टर जीत अडानी ने असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा के काम करने के तरीके की खूब तारीफ की। उन्होंने कहा कि सरमा का तेजी से फैसले लेना और उन्हें लागू करना 'पूरी तरह से Gen Z' जैसा है। एक कार्यक्रम में अडानी ने कहा कि सरमा जमीनी विकास और नए विचारों पर बहुत ध्यान देते हैं। उन्होंने असम को पूर्वोत्तर के लिए एक बड़ा आर्थिक केंद्र बताया, जहाँ लगभग 80,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश हो रहा है।
