Maruti Suzuki Gets ₹13,000 Crore Tax Relief From Tribunal

Maruti Suzuki India has received a significant tax relief order from the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT). The ruling covers eight financial years from FY2013-14 to FY2019-20 and FY2021-22. This favourable decision is expected to provide a positive tax impact, including interest, amounting to approximately ₹13,000 crore. The company anticipates reducing its contingent liability by about ₹6,300 crore, mainly through a decrease in interest charges. Maruti Suzuki stated that this tribunal order will not have a major impact on its financials or operations.

मारुति सुजुकी को ट्रिब्यूनल से मिली ₹13,000 करोड़ की टैक्स राहत

मारुति सुजुकी इंडिया को इनकम टैक्स अपीलेट ट्रिब्यूनल (ITAT) से टैक्स में बड़ी राहत मिली है। यह फैसला 8 वित्तीय वर्षों, FY2013-14 से FY2019-20 और FY2021-22 तक के लिए है। इस फैसले से लगभग ₹13,000 करोड़ का पॉजिटिव टैक्स इम्पैक्ट होने की उम्मीद है, जिसमें ब्याज भी शामिल है। कंपनी को उम्मीद है कि ब्याज में कमी के कारण उसकी कंटिंजेंट लायबिलिटी लगभग ₹6,300 करोड़ कम हो जाएगी। मारुति सुजुकी ने कहा है कि इस ट्रिब्यूनल ऑर्डर का उसके फाइनेंसियल या ऑपरेशन्स पर कोई खास असर नहीं पड़ेगा।
