BSP to Stage Indefinite Hunger Strike Over Perumbali Burial Case Delay

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will begin an indefinite hunger strike on October 19 in Erode, Tamil Nadu, demanding the arrest of six accused in the Perumbali caste atrocity case. The party also seeks action against officials who allegedly failed to prevent the incident and ensure the implementation of the SC/ST Act. BSP alleges that despite a case being registered, the accused remain at large. The protest aims to secure justice, ensure official accountability, and uphold the dignity of Scheduled Caste residents, who have also faced livelihood disruptions.

पेरुम्बाली दफ़न मामले में देरी पर बसपा का अनिश्चितकालीन भूख हड़ताल

बहुजन समाज पार्टी (बसपा) पेरुम्बाली जाति अत्याचार मामले में छह आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी की मांग को लेकर 19 अक्टूबर को इरोड, तमिलनाडु में अनिश्चितकालीन भूख हड़ताल शुरू करेगी। पार्टी उन अधिकारियों के खिलाफ भी कार्रवाई की मांग करती है जिन्होंने कथित तौर पर घटना को रोकने और SC/ST एक्ट के कार्यान्वयन को सुनिश्चित करने में विफल रहे। बसपा का आरोप है कि मामला दर्ज होने के बावजूद आरोपी अभी भी फरार हैं। इस विरोध का उद्देश्य न्याय सुनिश्चित करना, अधिकारियों को जवाबदेह ठहराना और अनुसूचित जाति के निवासियों की गरिमा को बनाए रखना है, जिन्हें आजीविका में बाधाओं का भी सामना करना पड़ा है।
