He stated that the case, which Dutta has been raising again, has already been legally closed by the judiciary. मल्हार questioned why the matter is being brought up repeatedly when it has reached a conclusion. The controversy stems from Dutta's accusations of sexual harassment against Nana Patekar during the filming of 'Horn Ok Please' in 2008, which gained prominence during the 2018 MeToo movement. Nana Patekar had previously denied these claims.
