Head Constable and Daughter Crushed to Death by Truck Near Nippani

A serving police head constable, Pundalik Hatti, 50, and his 24-year-old daughter Nikhita were tragically killed on the Pune-Bengaluru National Highway near Nippani. The incident occurred when a speeding truck allegedly lost control and rammed their motorcycle from behind near Stavanidhi Ghat. The impact threw the father and daughter onto the road, and the truck ran over them, causing fatal injuries. Police have registered a case against the truck driver and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.
