Woman claiming to be Mamata Banerjee's niece, knife in hand, attempts to breach security

A woman, claiming to be a niece of former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, allegedly attempted to enter her security cordon with a knife on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred near Banerjee's residence in Kalighat, Kolkata, around 6 pm. The woman, identified as Tannishtha Saha, reportedly appeared intoxicated and aggressive. She was overpowered by TMC workers and handed over to the police. The Mamata All India Trinamool Congress has lodged a formal complaint regarding the security breach.

एक महिला, जो पूर्व पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी की भतीजी होने का दावा कर रही थी, ने मंगलवार शाम को चाकू के साथ उनके सुरक्षा घेरे में घुसने की कोशिश की। यह घटना कोलकाता के कालीघाट में बनर्जी के आवास के पास शाम करीब 6 बजे हुई। महिला, जिसकी पहचान तनिष्ठा साहा के रूप में हुई है, कथित तौर पर नशे में और आक्रामक लग रही थी। उसे TMC कार्यकर्ताओं ने काबू कर लिया और पुलिस को सौंप दिया। ममता ऑल इंडिया तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने सुरक्षा उल्लंघन के संबंध में औपचारिक शिकायत दर्ज कराई है।
