The UAE is developing a new oil pipeline to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint for global oil trade. This strategic move aims to mitigate risks associated with potential disruptions due to escalating tensions between Iran and the US. The pipeline, with a capacity of 1.5 million barrels per day, will connect Abu Dhabi to the Fujairah port on the Arabian Sea.
