Kullu Dussehra Begins With Rath Yatra, 300 Deities Gather At Dhalpur

The International Kullu Dussehra festival commenced at Dhalpur Ground with the traditional Rath Yatra of Lord Raghunath, attracting over 300 deities from across the valley. Governor Kavinder Gupta inaugurated the event, highlighting its significance as an expression of Himachal Pradesh's culture and social harmony. The celebrations began with prayers and a procession carrying the deity's chariot, joined by members of the royal family and devotees. Deities arrived in decorated palanquins from various valleys, with some travelling over 100 km.

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कुल्लू दशहरा उत्सव ढालपुर मैदान में भगवान रघुनाथ की पारंपरिक रथ यात्रा के साथ शुरू हुआ, जिसमें घाटी भर से 300 से अधिक देवी-देवता शामिल हुए। राज्यपाल कैविंदर गुप्ता ने इस कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन किया और हिमाचल प्रदेश की संस्कृति और सामाजिक सद्भाव के प्रतीक के रूप में इसके महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। उत्सव की शुरुआत प्रार्थनाओं और देवता के रथ को ले जाने वाली एक शोभायात्रा के साथ हुई, जिसमें शाही परिवार के सदस्य और भक्त भी शामिल हुए। विभिन्न घाटियों से सजे-धजे पालकियों में देवी-देवता पहुंचे, जिनमें से कुछ 100 किमी से अधिक की यात्रा करके आए थे।
