The security of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has been significantly enhanced across Delhi and Agra. This decision comes in response to ongoing nationwide protests against the SIR process. Additional security personnel have been deployed at his Delhi residence, the Election Commission headquarters, and his personal security detail has been strengthened. Protests have also occurred at his ancestral home in Agra, where slogans were written on his property, leading to arrests and increased vigilance there.
