Student Attacked With Chainsaw For Rejecting Love Proposal; Friend Injured

A 10th-grade student in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur district was brutally attacked with a chainsaw by a spurned admirer after she rejected his love proposal. The accused, identified as Hemant, entered her classroom and inflicted severe injuries to her face, head, and back. When another student attempted to intervene and protect her, she also sustained serious injuries. Both students are in critical condition and receiving hospital treatment. The accused, who is a distant relative of the victim, has been arrested by the police.
