Private Schools Urge Govt To Clear Pending Renewals

Private school associations in Tamil Nadu are urging the government to expedite pending renewal applications for approximately 5,000 schools. These schools have building permissions from local bodies but are awaiting approval from the Directorate of Town and Country Planning (DTCP). The Federation of Private Schools Association highlighted that the online system, promised to speed up processes, has seen no progress.

तमिलनाडु में प्राइवेट स्कूलों के संगठनों ने सरकार से करीब 5,000 स्कूलों के लिए लंबित नवीनीकरण आवेदनों को जल्दी पूरा करने की गुहार लगाई है। इन स्कूलों के पास स्थानीय निकायों से बिल्डिंग परमिशन तो है, लेकिन Directorate of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) से मंजूरी का इंतजार है। फेडरेशन ऑफ प्राइवेट स्कूल्स एसोसिएशन ने कहा कि ऑनलाइन सिस्टम, जिससे काम तेज होने की उम्मीद थी, उसमें कोई प्रगति नहीं हुई है।
