Micro, small, and medium enterprises can significantly enhance productivity and efficiency by adopting emerging technologies, according to MSME Joint Secretary Mercy Epao. Speaking at the Delhi MSME Conclave, she highlighted that accessible technology solutions are crucial for smaller enterprises to transition towards more sustainable and resilient production systems. The MSME Development Act, 2026, is being updated to support these goals as part of the Viksit Bharat vision. The conclave also emphasized the role of cost accountants in providing advisory services and handholding support to empower MSMEs.

एमएसएमई की संयुक्त सचिव मर्सी इपाओ के अनुसार, उभरती प्रौद्योगिकियों को अपनाकर छोटे, मध्यम और लघु उद्यम (MSME) अपनी उत्पादकता और दक्षता में काफी सुधार कर सकते हैं। दिल्ली एमएसएमई कॉन्क्लेव में बोलते हुए, उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि छोटे उद्यमों के लिए अधिक टिकाऊ और लचीली उत्पादन प्रणालियों की ओर बढ़ने के लिए सुलभ तकनीकी समाधान महत्वपूर्ण हैं। विकसित भारत विजन के हिस्से के रूप में इन लक्ष्यों का समर्थन करने के लिए एमएसएमई विकास अधिनियम, 2026 को अपडेट किया जा रहा है। कॉन्क्लेव में एमएसएमई को सशक्त बनाने के लिए सलाहकार सेवाएं और हैंडहोल्डिंग सहायता प्रदान करने में लागत लेखाकारों की भूमिका पर भी जोर दिया गया।
