बेंगलुरु के विकास मंत्री कृष्णा बायरेगौड़ा ने कहा कि प्रस्तावित अपार्टमेंट कानून, भले ही एकदम सही न हो, एक बड़ा सुधार है। उन्होंने बताया कि मौजूदा कानून 50 साल से भी पुराने हैं और शहर की भारी वृद्धि को संभाल नहीं पा रहे। यह नया कानून रियल एस्टेट क्षेत्र को नियंत्रित करने, फ्लैट खरीदारों की सुरक्षा करने और अपार्टमेंट प्रबंधन को सुव्यवस्थित करने के लिए है, जिससे बेंगलुरु के शहरी विकास की पुरानी समस्याओं का समाधान होगा।
