आरबीआई द्वारा उठाए गए कदमों के बाद भारतीय रुपये में अमेरिकी डॉलर के मुकाबले काफी मजबूती आई है। इन कदमों का मकसद स्पॉट मार्केट में डॉलर की मांग को कम करना और सट्टा कारोबार को नियंत्रित करना है। रुपया 1% से अधिक बढ़कर 95.74 पर पहुंच गया, जो पिछले दिन के 96.73 से ऊपर है। यह रिकवरी कैलेंडर वर्ष में रुपये के 7% से अधिक कमजोर होने के बाद आई है। आरबीआई अपनी विदेशी मुद्रा जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए तीन सरकारी तेल कंपनियों को डॉलर बेच रहा है।
