Mizoram CM Asks Non-Mizo Officers To Learn Local Language, Culture

Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma has urged non-Mizo All India Service officers posted in the state to learn the Mizo language and understand local culture for effective public service. He emphasized that understanding people's way of life is crucial for officials entrusted with public responsibilities. This initiative, the first of its kind, aims to build mutual trust and improve administration by involving the public. A 14-day training program on Mizo culture and language is underway for 41 officers, with some attending online.

मिजोरम के मुख्यमंत्री लालदुहोमा ने राज्य में तैनात गैर-मिजो ऑल इंडिया सर्विस के अधिकारियों से प्रभावी जनसेवा के लिए मिजो भाषा सीखने और स्थानीय संस्कृति को समझने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि सार्वजनिक जिम्मेदारियों वाले अधिकारियों के लिए लोगों के जीवन जीने के तरीके को समझना महत्वपूर्ण है। अपनी तरह की इस पहली पहल का उद्देश्य जनता को शामिल करके आपसी विश्वास बनाना और प्रशासन में सुधार करना है। 41 अधिकारियों के लिए मिजो संस्कृति और भाषा पर 14 दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम चल रहा है, जिसमें कुछ ऑनलाइन भाग ले रहे हैं।
