Youth Congress Approaches Delhi HC Against Police Denial of Protest Permit

IYC has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court challenging the Delhi Police's refusal to grant permission for a protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar at Jantar Mantar. The IYC had applied for permission to hold a peaceful demonstration with 100-150 people, promising to adhere to all legal conditions for security and public order. The police denied permission, the same day the protest was scheduled.

युवा कांग्रेस (IYC) ने जंतर मंतर पर सीईसी ज्ञानेश कुमार के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन की अनुमति देने से दिल्ली पुलिस के इनकार को दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय में चुनौती देते हुए एक याचिका दायर की है। IYC ने सुरक्षा और सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था के लिए सभी कानूनी शर्तों का पालन करने का वादा करते हुए, 100-150 लोगों के साथ शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन के लिए अनुमति मांगी थी। जिस दिन विरोध प्रदर्शन निर्धारित था, उसी दिन पुलिस ने अनुमति देने से इनकार कर दिया।
