Ranchi Woman Lured to Dubai for Nursing Job, Forced into Domestic Work

A woman from Ranchi, Monica Kachhap, was allegedly held captive and forced into domestic work in Dubai after travelling there in May for a promised nursing job. She paid ₹15,000 to an agent, Priyanka, for the position advertised on social media. Upon arrival, her passport was confiscated, and she was pressured to sign documents she didn't understand. Agents claimed she owed a loan of 12,600 dirhams and would only be allowed to return after repayment. Her father has lodged an FIR against the agents.

रांची की रहने वाली मोनिका कछप को दुबई में नर्सिंग की नौकरी का वादा करके ले जाया गया था, लेकिन वहां पहुंचने पर उसे बंधक बनाकर घरेलू काम करने के लिए मजबूर किया गया। उसने सोशल मीडिया पर विज्ञापन देखकर प्रियंका नाम की एजेंट को इस नौकरी के लिए ₹15,000 दिए थे। दुबई पहुंचने पर उसका पासपोर्ट छीन लिया गया और उससे ऐसे कागजात पर दस्तखत करवाए गए जिन्हें वह समझ नहीं पाई। एजेंटों का कहना था कि उस पर 12,600 दिरहम का कर्ज है और जब तक वह इसे चुका नहीं देती, उसे वापस नहीं जाने दिया जाएगा। मोनिका के पिता ने एजेंटों के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज कराई है।
