A 34-year-old thalassaemia patient in Dhanbad has been unable to secure A-positive blood for transfusions for the past ten days. Jitendra Saw, who works as a toto driver, requires regular transfusions due to his inherited blood disorder. He has approached both the Shri Nirmal Mahto Medical College and Hospital (SNMMCH) and private facilities without success. This situation raises concerns about the availability of essential blood supplies and the effectiveness of free transfusion services.

धनबाद में थैलेसीमिया से पीड़ित 34 वर्षीय मरीज को पिछले दस दिनों से A-पॉजिटिव रक्त नहीं मिल पा रहा है। ऑटो चालक जितेंद्र साव को जन्मजात रक्त विकार के कारण नियमित रूप से रक्त चढ़वाने की आवश्यकता होती है। उन्होंने श्री निर्मल महतो मेडिकल कॉलेज एंड हॉस्पिटल (SNMMCH) और निजी अस्पतालों में भी संपर्क किया, लेकिन उन्हें सफलता नहीं मिली। यह स्थिति आवश्यक रक्त आपूर्ति की उपलब्धता और मुफ्त रक्त चढ़ाने की सेवाओं की प्रभावशीलता पर चिंता पैदा करती है।
