Andhra Pradesh Police Register 16 Cases Amidst Nomination Violence

Andhra Pradesh Police have registered 16 cases across 13 districts following violence during the nomination filing process. Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta stated that a total of 31 incidents were reported, including destruction and snatching of nomination papers, stone pelting, and attacks. Four vehicles were set on fire, and two houses were damaged, resulting in injuries to a police constable, a candidate, and others. Police have identified 54 individuals involved and are working to apprehend the remaining accused.

नामांकन दाखिल करने की प्रक्रिया के दौरान हुई हिंसा के बाद आंध्र प्रदेश पुलिस ने 13 जिलों में कुल 16 मामले दर्ज किए हैं। पुलिस महानिदेशक हरिश कुमार गुप्ता ने बताया कि नामांकन पत्रों को नष्ट करने और छीनने, पथराव और हमलों सहित कुल 31 घटनाओं की सूचना मिली थी। चार वाहनों में आग लगा दी गई और दो घरों को नुकसान पहुँचाया गया, जिससे एक पुलिस कांस्टेबल, एक उम्मीदवार और अन्य लोग घायल हो गए। पुलिस ने 54 लोगों की पहचान की है और बाकी आरोपियों को पकड़ने के लिए काम कर रही है।
