Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has urged restraint and respect for the judicial process in the long-standing Kotia interstate boundary dispute with Andhra Pradesh. Responding to a letter from Opposition leader Naveen Patnaik, Majhi asserted that the Kotia villages have been an integral part of Odisha since 1936. He accused Patnaik of approaching the issue politically rather than offering constructive solutions. Majhi highlighted his government's commitment to safeguarding Odisha's territorial integrity through lawful means and prioritizing the development of the disputed region.
