Times of India · india

Train services on the Howrah-Chennai mainline were disrupted on Thursday due to track flooding in Andhra Pradesh, near the Odisha border, caused by heavy rains from Cyclone Arnab. The Bahuda river in Ganjam district swelled significantly, crossing danger levels and flooding railway bridges. This led to the cancellation of over 30 trains and diversion of more than 20 others, including the Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express. Railway officials are monitoring the situation closely to ensure passenger safety and will restore services once water levels recede.
