Woman Died From Fall, Not Water Protest, Says Rewa DM

Rewa District Collector Narendra Kumar Suryavanshi has clarified that the death of a woman named Vimla Kol during protests against the Tata Nuclear Power Plant in Rozhouhi village was not due to water satyagraha. He stated that claims linking her death to the protest are misleading and baseless, as the 60-year-old woman was not involved in the demonstration. An investigation revealed she died from a fall while performing daily ablutions. The district administration has refuted all allegations connecting her demise to the ongoing agitation.

रीवा के जिला कलेक्टर नरेंद्र कुमार सूर्यवंशी ने स्पष्ट किया है कि रोजुही गांव में टाटा न्यूक्लियर पावर प्लांट के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान विमला कोल नाम की महिला की मौत पानी सत्याग्रह के कारण नहीं हुई थी। उन्होंने कहा कि उसकी मौत को विरोध से जोड़ने वाले दावे भ्रामक और निराधार हैं, क्योंकि 60 वर्षीय महिला प्रदर्शन में शामिल नहीं थी। जांच में पता चला कि वह रोजमर्रा के कामों के दौरान गिरने से मर गई थी। जिला प्रशासन ने चल रहे आंदोलन से उसकी मौत को जोड़ने वाले सभी आरोपों का खंडन किया है।
