The Supreme Court has strongly criticised hospitals for allegedly refusing to admit a minor rape victim, questioning if her poverty was the reason. The bench, headed by Justice Dipak Misra, expressed dismay at such conduct, emphasizing that medical facilities must provide care regardless of a patient's financial status.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अस्पतालों को नाबालिग बलात्कार पीड़िता को कथित तौर पर भर्ती करने से मना करने पर कड़ी फटकार लगाई है। कोर्ट ने पूछा कि क्या उसकी गरीबी इसकी वजह थी। जस्टिस दीपक मिश्रा की बेंच ने ऐसी हरकत पर नाराजगी जताई और कहा कि अस्पतालों को मरीज की आर्थिक स्थिति देखे बिना इलाज देना चाहिए।
