Warangal Sewerage Project Receives ₹5,000 Crore German Funding Boost

The Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation's comprehensive sewerage and wastewater management project has received a significant boost with the approval of ₹5,000 crore in external assistance from Germany's KfW development bank. The Telangana Climate Resilient Urban Transformation Initiative (Telangana-CRUTI) proposal was cleared by the Department of Economic Affairs' screening committee. This funding will support the construction of an underground sewerage network, wastewater treatment upgrades, and promote reuse of treated water in Warangal.

ग्रेटर वारंगल म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन के सीवरेज और वेस्टवाटर मैनेजमेंट प्रोजेक्ट को जर्मनी के KfW डेवलपमेंट बैंक से ₹5,000 करोड़ की बाहरी मदद मिली है। तेलंगाना क्लाइमेट रेजिलिएंट अर्बन ट्रांसफॉर्मेशन इनिशिएटिव (Telangana-CRUTI) के प्रस्ताव को डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ इकोनॉमिक अफेयर्स की स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी ने मंजूरी दे दी है। इस फंडिंग से वारंगल में अंडरग्राउंड सीवरेज नेटवर्क, वेस्टवाटर ट्रीटमेंट अपग्रेड और ट्रीटेड पानी के दोबारा इस्तेमाल को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
