National Security Adviser Ajit Doval held high-level talks with Vietnam's Minister of Public Security, General Luong Tam Quang, agreeing to strengthen security cooperation. Doval also met with Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, General Phan Van Giang, to review bilateral defence cooperation. The discussions focused on expanding security and defence ties, a key pillar of the enhanced comprehensive strategic partnership between India and Vietnam. Both sides also exchanged views on regional and global developments, reinforcing their civilisational partnership.

राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार अजीत डोभाल ने वियतनाम के मंत्री ऑफ पब्लिक सिक्योरिटी, जनरल लुओंग तम क्वांग के साथ उच्च स्तरीय बातचीत की। दोनों पक्षों ने सुरक्षा सहयोग को मजबूत करने पर सहमति जताई। डोभाल ने वियतनाम के उप प्रधान मंत्री और राष्ट्रीय रक्षा मंत्री, जनरल फान वान गियांग से भी मुलाकात की और द्विपक्षीय रक्षा सहयोग की समीक्षा की। चर्चाओं में भारत और वियतनाम के बीच बढ़ी हुई व्यापक रणनीतिक साझेदारी के एक प्रमुख स्तंभ के रूप में सुरक्षा और रक्षा संबंधों का विस्तार करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया। दोनों पक्षों ने क्षेत्रीय और वैश्विक विकास पर भी विचारों का आदान-प्रदान किया, जिससे उनकी सभ्यतागत साझेदारी मजबूत हुई।
