US Governor Candidate Survives Plane Crash

Wisconsin Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany survived a plane crash on Saturday night after his aircraft lost power and made an emergency landing in Lake Wausau. Tiffany and the pilot exited the sinking plane and swam to safety before being rescued by emergency responders. Both sustained only minor injuries and were taken to Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident. Tiffany expressed gratitude to the pilot and first responders.
