Rainfall Reduces Andhra Pradesh Deficit to 51.7%

A three-day wet spell has significantly reduced Andhra Pradesh's overall rainfall deficit to 51.7%, down from 54.7% earlier this week. While some districts like West Godavari and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema received above-normal rainfall in early September, many areas, particularly in Rayalaseema, continue to face substantial deficiencies. The state has received 235.3 mm of rain between June 1 and September 13 against a normal of 486.9 mm.

आंध्र प्रदेश में तीन दिन की बारिश से राज्य का कुल वर्षा घाटा घटकर 51.7% रह गया है, जो पहले 54.7% था। सितंबर की शुरुआत में वेस्ट गोदावरी और डॉ. बी.आर. अम्बेडकर कोनासीमा जैसे कुछ जिलों में सामान्य से ज़्यादा बारिश हुई। लेकिन, खासकर रायलसीमा के कई इलाकों में अभी भी पानी की भारी कमी है। 13 सितंबर तक राज्य में सामान्य 486.9 मिमी की तुलना में 235.3 मिमी बारिश हुई है।
