The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption has registered a case against seven individuals, including a former panchayat president and retired block development officers, for alleged irregularities in government housing schemes in Coimbatore district's Sultanpet block. The probe into the Chief Minister’s Solar-Powered Green House Scheme and Indira Awaas Yojana found violations like obtaining houses for ineligible beneficiaries and constructing them at incorrect locations.
