Chennai Police To Issue Blue Corner Notice Against Businessman Prakash

Chennai police are planning to issue an Interpol blue corner notice against businessman N Prakash Kannaiah, who is believed to be in the UK, in connection with child rape cases involving Gem Granites chairman R Veeramani. An existing Look Out Circular against Prakash has not yielded his appearance for questioning. Police have also frozen a bank account with ₹24 crore and obtained his transaction records. A blue corner notice seeks information from foreign law enforcement agencies to locate him, unlike a red corner notice which seeks arrest.
