Infosys to Shift Employees to Specialist Roles

Infosys plans to transition between 25% and 33% of its over 320,000 employees into specialist roles. The company also aims to build a team of approximately 6,000 frontier engineers. This strategic shift is driven by the increasing impact of artificial intelligence on traditional billing models. Infosys has already provided AI training to 270,000 employees and is actively engaging 80,000 in coding tools. The company is recruiting talent from top Indian and US institutions to support these new initiatives.

इंफोसिस अपने 320,000 से ज़्यादा कर्मचारियों में से 25% से 33% को स्पेशलिस्ट रोल में ले जाने की योजना बना रही है। कंपनी लगभग 6,000 फ्रंटियर इंजीनियर्स की टीम भी बनाना चाहती है। यह बड़ा बदलाव आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस के पारंपरिक बिलिंग मॉडल पर बढ़ते असर की वजह से हो रहा है। इंफोसिस ने पहले ही 270,000 कर्मचारियों को AI ट्रेनिंग दी है और 80,000 लोगों को कोडिंग टूल्स में शामिल कर रही है। कंपनी इन नई पहलों के लिए भारत और अमेरिका के टॉप संस्थानों से टैलेंट रिक्रूट कर रही है।
