Bank strike from Sept 28, customers urged

Bank employees and officers are planning a three-day strike starting September 28. This, combined with the weekend and an October 2 holiday, could mean five consecutive days without branch services. The State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) in Telangana has advised customers to complete all banking transactions in advance. The strike, called by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), is in support of demands including a five-day work week.

बैंक कर्मचारी और अधिकारी 28 सितंबर से तीन दिन की हड़ताल पर जाने की सोच रहे हैं। इससे वीकेंड और 2 अक्टूबर की छुट्टी के साथ मिलाकर, लगातार पांच दिन तक बैंक सेवाएं बंद रह सकती हैं। तेलंगाना के SLBC ने ग्राहकों को सलाह दी है कि वे अपने सारे बैंकिंग काम पहले ही निपटा लें। यह हड़ताल UFBU द्वारा बुलाई गई है, जो पांच दिन के कार्य सप्ताह जैसी मांगों के समर्थन में है।
