Suzlon Energy Profit Plunges 69% YoY To Rs 394 Crore In Q2

Economic Times Markets · stocks

Suzlon Energy reported a 69% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 394 crore for the September quarter, primarily due to a high base from a one-time tax asset benefit in the previous year. Despite the profit drop, revenue increased by 26% to Rs 4,869 crore, driven by record wind turbine deliveries. The company achieved its highest-ever second-quarter wind turbine deliveries in India at 710 megawatts. While segment profit for renewable energy solutions declined, asset management services saw profit growth. Suzlon's order book stood at 6,009 MW.
