Bombay High Court Orders Election Commission To Add 6 Names To Voter List

The Bombay High Court has dealt a blow to the ECI by ordering the inclusion of six family members in the voter list. The family's names were removed from the SIR list after they submitted Form-8 to update their address within the same constituency. Despite submitting the form as advised, their names were deleted. The court has directed the ECI to reinstate all six names within ten days, rejecting the commission's plea for a stay.

बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट ने चुनाव आयोग को बड़ा झटका देते हुए छह परिवार के सदस्यों को वोटर लिस्ट में शामिल करने का आदेश दिया है। परिवार के नाम SIR लिस्ट से हटा दिए गए थे, जब उन्होंने एक ही निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के भीतर अपना पता अपडेट करने के लिए फॉर्म-8 जमा किया था। सलाह के अनुसार फॉर्म जमा करने के बावजूद, उनके नाम हटा दिए गए थे। कोर्ट ने चुनाव आयोग को दस दिनों के भीतर सभी छह नामों को बहाल करने का निर्देश दिया है, आयोग की रोक की याचिका को खारिज कर दिया है।
