Panaji Residents Demand Rejection of Five NBCC Projects Due to Infrastructure Strain

Times of India · india

A group of Panaji residents has urged the mayor and NGPDA chairperson to reject five NBCC redevelopment projects, citing inadequate drainage, water, and power infrastructure. They argue that the government is showing double standards by pushing these projects while rejecting private proposals due to similar infrastructure constraints. The draft Panaji Outline Development Plan 2031 also highlighted these limitations, leading to the rejection of 44 private land-use change requests.
