India Denies Censor Exemption to 31 Films

The Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has denied censor exemption for 31 films slated for the 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK) in Thiruvananthapuram. This denial follows a similar action at last year's International Film Festival of Kerala, where 19 films were initially refused exemption. Among the rejected films are those in the International Non-Fiction and Festival Winners sections, as well as the Malayalam film Globe.

सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय ने केरल के थिरुवनंतपुरम में होने वाले 18वें इंटरनेशनल डॉक्यूमेंट्री एंड शॉर्ट फिल्म फेस्टिवल (IDSFFK) के लिए 31 फिल्मों को सेंसर छूट देने से मना कर दिया है। पिछले साल भी इंटरनेशनल फिल्म फेस्टिवल ऑफ केरल में 19 फिल्मों को ऐसी ही छूट नहीं मिली थी। इसमें इंटरनेशनल नॉन-फिक्शन, फेस्टिवल विनर्स और मलयालम फिल्म 'ग्लोब' जैसी फिल्में शामिल हैं।
