Sunil Kumar Appointed ONGC Chairman For Three Years From December 7

Sunil Kumar has been appointed as the new chairman of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for a three-year term starting December 7, 2026. Currently an executive director at ONGC, Kumar will be the first to rise to the top post from this rank. He will replace Arun Singh, who has led the company since December 2022. Kumar, 58, holds degrees in petroleum engineering and business management.

सुनील कुमार को ऑयल एंड नेचुरल गैस कॉर्पोरेशन (ONGC) का नया चेयरमैन नियुक्त किया गया है। उनका कार्यकाल तीन साल का होगा और यह 7 दिसंबर 2026 से शुरू होगा। अभी ONGC में एग्जीक्यूटिव डायरेक्टर के पद पर काम कर रहे कुमार इस पद पर पहुंचने वाले पहले व्यक्ति होंगे। वह अरुण सिंह की जगह लेंगे, जो दिसंबर 2022 से कंपनी का नेतृत्व कर रहे हैं। 58 वर्षीय कुमार के पास पेट्रोलियम इंजीनियरिंग और बिजनेस मैनेजमेंट की डिग्री है।
