Kerala HC Bars Arrest of Judge in Minor's Luxury Car Crash Case

The Kerala High Court has directed police not to arrest an Additional District Judge, the father of a 17-year-old boy involved in a fatal car crash, until further orders. Justice Kauser Edappagath stated the court cannot be swayed by public opinion and must follow the law strictly. The judge was instructed to cooperate with the investigation. The court also permitted the victim's family to join the anticipatory bail petition filed by the judicial officer. The accident occurred when the minor allegedly drove the car and hit a scooter.
